Crashland is a peer mentorship program for international students landing in Brisbane. We build small circles of 4–6 students, pair them with a trained peer mentor who's lived their exact experience, and guide them through their first 8 weeks. From the practical stuff like banking and transport, to the harder stuff like finding your people and actually feeling at home.
I'm a solo founder and Software Engineering student at UQ, and I'm looking for someone to build this with me and help shape how CrashLand grows.
Specifically, I need someone who can own our presence and reach, creating content that speaks to international students, showing up in the communities where they already are, and starting conversations with universities, student unions, and organisations who work with incoming students.
If you've been an international student yourself, work closely with that community, or just deeply get what it feels like to land somewhere new with no roadmap, I'd love to hear from you.
