Geopera is a Brisbane-based geospatial data and research company. We build reliable, precise, and accessible systems for working with spatial data, and our research spans analytics, process automation, and machine learning. We're a small, fast-growing team, which means everyone's work is visible and everyone's ideas count.
message from the founder
Apply below with your CV and a short note on why this role interests you. If you've made things you're proud of — a social account you've grown, posts you've written, a campaign you've run — include links. It's optional, but it helps. And if you don't tick every box, apply anyway. We care more about sharp writing, good instincts, and genuine curiosity than a perfect CV.

We're looking for an undergraduate to become our first dedicated marketing hire. You'll own real channels, publish real work, and help build the Geopera brand from the ground up — working directly with the founders at our Rosalie Village office. You'll get a breadth of experience that's almost impossible to find at a big company. One week you might be writing a blog post that explains our work in plain English; the next you're launching a paid campaign, creating founder content, or shaping how our brand looks and sounds. We'll teach you what we know, give you room to experiment, and expect you to bring ideas of your own. The role is paid hourly (casual), 2–3 days a week, and ongoing — and we'll flex around your timetable and exam periods.
